"I’ve used Swagbucks off and on for..."
I’ve used Swagbucks off and on for a while, and I’ll give it credit where it’s due: the payouts have always come through for me. I usually cash out through PayPal or gift cards, and I’ve never had a reward just vanish or not arrive at all.

That said, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little disappointed sometimes. The waits can feel longer than they should, and a lot of the surveys really don’t feel worth the time. So while I can’t complain much about the payout reliability, the overall experience could definitely be better.

"Works okay, but be careful with the privacy settings"
The app works fine overall, but just a heads up: I don’t feel totally clear on how my data is being used. The privacy settings aren’t as straightforward as they should be, and I had to poke around more than expected. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I’d definitely recommend checking the settings closely before using it too much

"Please don't waste your time"

It was terrible a mess. I was at $14.50 and the website doesn't let me play anymore.  The surveys never work and the games take so long to get money. I should have never wasted my time on this.

"Easy to use on both my phone and laptop"
I’ve been using swagbucks on the website and the app, it’s easy to figure out. The app loads fine for me, and I like that the surveys, games, and rewards are all simple to find. The website is clear too, not all cluttered or confusing like some other sites I’ve tried. Every now and then a survey will kick me out, which is annoying, but overall it works well, and I end up checking it most days.

"Offer tracking is so hit or miss"
Swagbucks has been alright for surveys, but the offer tracking is sooo inconsistent for me. I tried a couple of app offers and followed the steps exactly, but only one of them actually credited.

Support did get back to me, but it took a whileee, and I still had to send screenshots to prove everything. It’s not the worst site or anything, just really annoying when you spend time on an offer and it doesn’t track right.

"Decent for a little extra cash"
It’s not going to make you rich, but it does bring in a bit of side money if you’re patient with it. I remember sitting there one night cashing out while my microwave randomly beeped even though nothing was in it, which was weird, but that’s kind of the vibe—slow, a little random, but it works.

"Solid survey options if you’re patient"
I’ve been using Swagbucks mainly for surveys, it’s been good overall. There’s usually a nice mix of surveys available, and while some days are definitely better than others, I can usually find at least a few that actually go through and earn points.
The only thing that gets a little frustrating is answering a bunch of questions and then getting screened out. That said, if you stick with it and have a bit of patience, the points really do start to add up. I’d happily give it 4 stars.

"I use Swagbucks here and there when..."
I use Swagbucks here and there when I’m just sitting around, like watching TV or waiting on something. It’s not some big money maker or anything, let’s be real, but for the little bit of effort I put in, it’s fair enough. I’ve gotten a few gift cards out of it and didn’t have any problems cashing them out. You just kind of have to be patient with it and not expect too much.

"Support came through faster than I expected"
I finished an offer and noticed the SB didn’t show up, so I had that little moment of wondering if I was going to have to chase it down forever. I grabbed a screenshot, sent in a ticket, and figured I’d be waiting a few days before hearing anything back.
Then support replied way sooner than I expected. They checked it out, added the missing credit, and the message actually felt like a real person wrote it instead of some generic copy-paste response. It turned what I thought might be a hassle into a easy fix.

"Gift card redemption went smoothly"
I redeemed my points for a gift card and it actually came through without any problems. It did take a little longer than I thought it would, but maybe that’s normal? The steps were simple to follow, so I can’t really complain. I’d probably use it again.

"I’ll be honest, I’ve used this brand for..."
I’ll be honest, I’ve used this brand for a while, so when my account got suspended I felt torn. Part of me was annoyed and thinking maybe I should switch, but I also didn’t want to give up on something I’ve generally liked. The verification process was actually easier than I expected, just a bit of waiting after I sent in the info they asked for. Once it went through, my account was opened again and my points were still there, which was a relief. Not the best experience at first, but support came through in the end.
Swagbucks Q&A

How long do you have to wait for the money ? and how well do they pay

WillieWagner
September 20, 2019

“Many giftcards are sent electronically. Some are within a few hours, others can take a few days. How well they pay depends on which activity you're referring to and also how much time and effort you devote to earning. Some activities are USELESS, like watching videos - you watch 15 30-second videos and are only paid 2SB, the equivalent of 2¢. For 7.5mins, that's asinine! However, some of the activities, like the surveys, in-store shopping/receipt upload and games (such as Swago) can offer a great bonus here and there.”

How much points do you have to earn to get cash or gift card

goldenzebra645
August 16, 2019

“It varies depending on what tier of gift card you are interested in. Several hundred points will get you a small gift card of around $3. One-thousand points gets you a $10 gift card, I believe. 2500 points typically gets you a $25 gift card, but there are usually discounted gift cards that you can take advantage of.”

What do i need to get a gift card?

Clinton
August 30, 2019

“You need to earn swagbucks to get a gift card. As few as 300-500 swagbucks will get you a gift card (worth $3 - $5). Better gift cards are available for more swagbucks.”

Can you earn real money or is it just gift cards

“It is real cash, since you can have the payment through PayPal or Visa cards. They're not going to just deposit into a bank account.”

“I've been a member with Swagbucks over 7 years and never had any problems with stolen identity. I would not suspect any problems associated with Swagbucks directly”
